General description;
A production built cruising design from Lock Crowther, this 10 Meter design is a dependable offshore cruising boat.
This "Mark 2" model has designer refit including transom extensions, and bulbous bows for increased waterline, and increased buoyancy in the bows and stern.
Built in Australia 1985, foam core fiberglass above the waterline, and solid fiberglass below the waterline.
Wide beam, 22.5 feet, for excellent stability when sailing or at anchor.
Daggerboards and balanced spade rudders provide excellent sailing to windward.
Heavy duty stainless steel davits, with Walker Bay hard dinghy, and Avon inflatable dinghy
Engine;
(1) Yamaha 4 stroke High Thrust 9.9 hp motor, low hours. Motor swings up in nacelle below cockpit for improved sailing performance. Will motor at 5.5 knots, ½ gallon per hour.
(1) Yamaha 8hp dinghy motor mounted on special bracket on back platform is able to swing down to act as axillary or back up engine.
